The studio

A quiet room, after hours

Oracle Ink is a private tattoo studio in the village of Tolleshunt D'Arcy, near Maldon in Essex. It is home to Dan Milton, who tattoos here one to one, away from the noise of a busy high street shop.

There are no walk-ins and no queues. Every appointment is booked ahead, held in the evenings and at weekends, so you have the room and Dan's full attention for your piece.

Just you, the machine and the idea you came in with.

Booked, not walked in

There is no online booking system and no reception desk. Everything starts with a message, and Dan takes it from there.

Send your idea

Email the studio or send a message on Instagram. Tell Dan your idea, where it will sit and a rough size, with any reference images.

Design and date

Dan will reply to talk it through and find a date. As the studio runs around evenings and weekends, please allow a little time for a response.

Come in

Visit the private studio in Tolleshunt D'Arcy for your appointment, with the room and the evening to yourselves.
